ArtWorks Resin 2 Gallon kit (7.57 Litres)

Epoxy resin designed and formulated for art, coatings and tumblers. This one gallon (3.785 litres) kit contains: this two gallon (7.57 litres) kit contains one 1 gallon (3.78l) bottle of resin, plus one 1 gallon (3.78l) bottle of hardener. Covers approximately 64 sq ft (ie: 8' x 8' piece). Artworks resin is a high quality resin that has been developed specially for artwork, and is also used for coatings, tables, tumblers, counters, doming & more. Best resin for glitter tumblers due to being consistency being able to smooth over even the largest chunky glitters heat resistant.

Artworks has uv protection plus has hals for added uv protection. Hals hindered amine light stabilzers, are chemical compounds that are used as uv stabilzers in plastics and polymers. They're used to protect from the effects of photo-oxidation and thermal stabilizers. Work time (pot life) 30 - 40 minutes average. Fast curing resin, in only 8 to 12 hours (temperature & humidity dependent).

Heat tolerance to 130c degrees celsius (after 3 week full cure). Two-part resin with a 1:1 ratio. Medium viscosity (thick like syrup) for an excellent flow. No foul odour, but has a faint scent. Scratch resistant, cures very rigid and rock hard.

Cures crystal clear like glass, very high gloss finish. We are authorised uk distributors of artworks resin. In your pack you will receive instructions, including tips for using your artworks resin.

Nitrile gloves and a non wooden stir stick. Please note that all resins will yellow over a period of time.

However, artworks has been formulated with high quality chemicals and will resist yellowing for a very long time. It is not possible to determine how long it will take cured resin for any brand to start becoming discolored as there are many variables such as additives by the user and where/how the piece is being displayed/used.
