Made to order a grade mold. This mold is not food safe. It can be used for resins, concrete, and polymers.

You will not receive pictured mold; this photo is for the advertisement. Please read the entire listing description and check shop announcements.

A grade ranges from perfect to minor imperfections. They can be perfect and free from any imperfections or have a few specs of dirt or hairs in the cavity of the mold. The dirt and small hairs will be tiny or barely stick above the surface of the mold. It may not affect your piece, but i cannot guarantee. A dome/flood coat is recommended. There will not be any smudges on the inside of the mold.

Outside of the cavity may have smudges, dirt, hair, or other imperfections. The imperfections on the outside of the cavity cannot harm your pieces. Most likely, they will contain dirt and hairs. B grade will have a few pieces of dirt, hair, or other imperfections in the cavity.

Small enough they can be fixed with a dome/flood coat or extra tlc. B grade is most likely going to affect the outcome of your mold. I have not personally tried any molds with uv resin. I have heard if you use thin layers (2 or more layers) it will work. I have heard mixed reviews about it. I cannot guarantee these molds will work with uv resin. If you are using a uv resin, send me a message. The dark pigment in the mold can make it difficult for resin to cure. I will send the mold with no pigment for a better chance of successful results.

As a reminder it may take longer for your resin to cure depending on the directions on the bottle. It is common for thin layers to take longer than the 1/4-inch layers. The amount of pigment, powder, alcohol ink, etc.

Will take longer to cure. It is also possible if there is too much added, it will always be bendy. Make sure to follow the directions on everything. I have not used these for anything other than 2-part resins. I have heard they work for some clays and not others.

I have had customers use these for wax and freshies and have had amazing results. I have a pet-friendly home and it is impossible to keep things 100% clean. My prices reflect how much i feel the mold is worth. My goal is to provide quality molds at an affordable price. Please read the description below.

I also do extensive, slight and no trimming. The amount of trimming depends on the piece.

The trimming does not affect the quality of the cavity. The corners may be trimmed back, and the sides of the mold may be slightly trimmed. There may be some imperfections such as lint and hair. A dome/flood coat will take care of these small issues. Do not message me and ask where your order is. You will either get a mold made with mold star 15 or dragon skin 10. Dragon skin silicone will be a random color depending on which i choose. You cannot choose which color your mold will be. This goes into effect may 10th.

Make sure to look into the dragon skin 10 slow and mold star 15 slow for exact details on reynolds advanced materials website. Customs are open look for the custom listing option. You may not use a coupon on custom listings. Please read the description and processing time of each product and the question-and-answer section before purchasing.

Especially if you are purchasing out of the united states. Do not touch the cavity or shiny part of the mold.

This will cause scuffs and scratches. Once the mold is scuffed, it is extremely hard/impossible to get those marks off or back to being shiny. Be careful when using a torch or any kind of heat.

Heat for too long will melt or damage the mold causing it to become frail or break when demolding. Too much heat may also cause the resin to fuse and melt to the mold. Molds are delicate and can become scratched or smudged easily. You can use painters' tape to remove the cured resin off the mold. You must be gentle and careful.

This has worked well for me but does not work for everyone. To make the mold last, avoid stretching and pulling when demolding.

Please use proper ppe when using resin.
