Plus, our epoxy can be applied even at lower temperatures, as low as 60f, without the tackiness often associated with fast-drying epoxy resins. It's a thoughtful combination of efficiency, quality, and user-friendliness.
Mix ratio: equal parts (1a:1b) by volume. Pot life: 15-20 minutes at room temperature (75f). Tack-free: 2-3 hours at room temperature (75f). Full cure: 72 hours at room temperature (75f). Suggested temperature range: 60f - 80f with less than 80% relative humidity.Fast set epoxy is conveniently available in sample kits (4 ounces), quart kits (32 ounces), 1 gallon kits (128 ounces), and 2 gallon kits (256 ounces). Kit sizes are specified by the cumulative volume of resin and hardener components (a + b total volume). Combine equal parts resin (a) and hardener (b) by volume in a graduated mixing container. Stir the components together for two to three minutes, or until there are no striations left in the mixture and it has returned to clear. Immediately apply the epoxy resin to the surface to prevent overheating.
Spread the epoxy resin with a squeegee, trowel, or gloved hand. Allow 72 hours for the epoxy resin to fully cure.Note: this is a fast set epoxy resin. Once the two components are mixed together this product will react quickly and begin generating heat. After mixing immediately pour the epoxy resin onto the surface to prevent harm.
For safety, please ensure usage in well-ventilated spaces. Keep stored in a cool, dry environment with the containers tightly sealed (recommended storage temperature range 60-80f). Our products have been formulated to resist ultraviolet degradation for long periods of time with the addition of hindered amine light stabilizers. It is also worth noting that because of the accelerators added to fast drying epoxy resins, the hardener will have a slight orange hue in larger containers that may appear more noticeable as it approaches the end of its shelf life.
This item is made of epoxy resin and hardener.
